The determination of velocity and position (ab. DVP) is the key technology in the safety and command system of Maglev Train. This paper introduces the principle and realization of some methods of the velocity and position determination. And the synthesis design of the system is presented at the end of the thesis, which is the velocity and position determination equipment.In the first part, the principle of DVP is introduced, which is based on Inductive Radio Line. Firstly, the basic conditions of Inductive Radio Line application to DVP are reasoned from electromagnet ism. Secondly, the connection between inductive voltage and position of receiving antenna is deducted according to Faraday Electromagnetic Induction Theory. And according to the connection, the principle of the determination of speed and relative position is expounded. Finally, Dopplar effect on the method of DVP based on Inductive Radio Line is analyzed.In the second part, each portion of the DVP equipment based on Inductive Radio Line are particularly analyzed and presented, which include the signal supply, receiving circuit and signal disposal circuit. The electromagnetism disturbance is particularly analyzed in experiment construe of the final part.In the third part, the principle and determination of some absolute location methods are presented ,which include Inductive Radio Line, vortex inductor and magnetic Electromagnetic Induction method. The method of Inductive Radio Line forms address code using many group of Inductive Radio Line and determines the position. The address code of Inductive Radio Line is active. On the contrary, the last two is passive.At the end of the thesis, integral configuration of DVP system is introduced. In the end redundancy design of the DVP system is introduced in view of its reliability.
