Some modern ship, such as containership, is characterized by wide hatch openings. These characteristic results in poor torsional rigidity of the hull girder-a fact that has caused serious problems of many ships which can not be neglected, especially the coupled vibration of torsion-bending of the ship hull girder. The alternatives to beam analysis of the hull are finite element analysis. However, the expense involved in the use of these methods considerably restricts their use. So apply the beam theory to analysis the vibration. The analysis procedure is based on the solution of a set of coupled differential equations which describe the behavior of thin-wall beams, and calculate the frequency of the ship hull at last. Furthermore, the model should be able to take into account the restraining effect of torsional boxes inserted in the hull of the ship to increase the torsional stiffness. For make the hypothesis close to the actual structure, apply the method of plane element which take into account effects such as warping and torsional deflections to calculate the section moment of inertia. Base on the theory of Benscoter and one beam theory and the transfer matrix method, the modify of the theory of Timoshenko in use of the multi-beam theory are presented. The numerical results are compared with the results of Ansys.
