The study on the portable PEMFC(proton exchange membrane fuel cell) power supply system and its controlling method aims to supply a new type electrical source with excellent concealing ability for our broadcasting station for field operations' communicating. Compared with the traditional diesel power supply system(or petrolic power supply system) and storage battery,its most prominent characteristics are low temperature, little noise, low infrared radicalization, long standing ability and much more steady working performance. Therefore it possesses stalwart viability and dependable working stability in today's high-tech war.Such measures as followed were taken in the system and its controlling method designing. Ordinary-press air was adapted to act as the oxidizer in the system, and the velocity of airflow and its gross were controlled by DC timing fans. Reversible metal hydrogen-storing material was adapted to store and supply hydrogen.The flux of hydrogen supplying was confined to the max-loading condition by a flow-limit valve and the press was stably provided by two grade of decompression. At the mean time, the waste heat of the fuel cell stack and the heat dispersed by the electrical system were utilized to maintain the hydrogen storage's working temperature .The method of "felt sopping water" and "water bottle bubbling " were separately used to humidify the air and hydrogen at the same time,and the amount of humidifying water were separately controlled by timing supplying and temperature regulatinging by the heat of the electrical system. The feasible working temperature of the cell stack was maintained by utilizing the structure designing in the machine box and the adjusting of rotate speed of the fan. The superfluous gas was let by the method of interval exhausting.In the designing, single-chip computer was used as the key component of the digital controlling unit that achieved the scheme above.Lastly we integrated the whole system,and tested the system's each performance parameter and its capability of loading some type of communicating transmitter-receiver. The result indicated that the designing of the system and its controlling method had achieved the predetermined goal and have strong pertinence and practicability.This paper firstly introduced the system origin, research significance and the main content, then expatiated on the correlating definitions, framework form, working principle and the key technologies of the whole PEMFC power supply system in detail. Combining with the practical application demand of the army,the paper then put forward the collectivity controlling scheme of the portable system. After completing the parameter testing and analyzing each influencing factors, it expatiated the designing of the hardware of the system, controlling circuit and software. Then the system was successfully integrated , and all kinds of performance testing of the sample was done, which certified feasibility of design scheme. Referring to some problems found in testing and some opinion of some soldiers who applied the system, the more optimizing project of system and its controlling method was given in the end.
