Two important problems of firepower control system are concerned in this thesis. One is system state estimation in the noisy circumstance (Problem I). The other is the resolving of hitting equation under different conditions (Problem II). One should be noticed that the whole research in this paper is based on the process of designing a digital artillery firepower control system. By skillfully using theoretical ratiocination, digital simulation and experiments, the article has proved its algorithm theoretical true and practical in engineer. The main contents of this thesis are as follows:(1) To begin Problem I, several models are established to describe the maneuvering target. And then maneuvering detection problem is discussed.(2) Instead of normal Kalman Filter, a new kind of estimator: Strong Tracking Filter (STF) is introduced to solve problem I. Steered by reasonable requirement, STF based its Tightness on strict mathematical deriving. After that, digital simulation has also proved its validation.(3) As to the Problem II, the hitting equation is analyzed, clearly under the condition that detection equipment is available. This laid solid foundation to solve the competition of hitting equation's multiple results. Combined with practical projects, the thesis presents method to avoid multiple results' competition. Another fruit of this chapter is: it provides theoretical proof to resolve hitting equation by half-splitting method.(4) If detection equipment is unavailable, the hitting equation lacks necessary information to solve. On the base of former methods: gyro simulation method and fictitious airway method the thesis put a new scheme forward to solve the problem. Through simulation it has been proved correct.
