To design a aerocraft with traditional method will use a long period of time and cost large. In order to increase the efficiency of aerocraft-design, and in order to design and evaluate the modern fighter better, the research of simulation system of modern fighter is very significance.Just few years, with the development of computer, simulation has more abroad and deep meanings. Now. simulation was deeply used in navigate, spaceflight, weapon, communication and so on.The principles of this simulation system for modern fighter are discussed in detail in the paper. And the functional models of some main parts of the simulation system (aircraft frame, flight control system, radar/fire control system and so on)are introduced. The models' studying and constructing is the base of simulation system. Through basic laws, experiential methods and experiment statistics ,we constructed the models of system .Here, we use the method of numerical analysis to solve the dynamic equations of aerocraft. "Stability and control system" is considered in constructing the model of flight control system. To the radar/fire control system, the aiming reticle and its simulation principle are emphasized.By the programming for Windows, the OpenGL 3D techniques and the network technique, the geometrical models of the fighter and scene are constructed and displayed, and the simulation system has the ability of interact, and we got a synthetic simulation system. We analyzed and evaluated the simulation system, the result showed that the functional models are logical. It also proved through the simulation system, the efficiency of aerocraft design can be increased and the cost can be decreased.
