Abstract/Summary:
Compress disk is the very important rotational component in the areoengine. When the compress disk is working , the grads of temperature and stress between the rim and the center of the disk are great .In order to raise the thrust-weight ratio of the disk and reduce oil consumption. The best prospective way is the dual alloys disk used.The high-temperature properties of Ti3Al matrix alloy can satisfy the request of the exit temperature of the areoengine compress. But the room temperature plasticity of Ti3Al matrix alloy is very low, hard to shape ,and manufacture's cost is very expensive. What's more, the application of TC11 two phase alloys to the compress disk of areoengine alredy is relatively mature ,and TC11 alloy may work safely for very long time below 500 C. Ti3Al matrix alloy and (a +B )two phase alloy is connected by weld . The request of the temperature and stress can be satisfied by dual alloy disk with isothermal forged(or hot die forging).The purpose of the paper is to search the feasibility of the ecletron-beam weld of Ti3Al intermetallics and TC11 (a+ B )two phase titanium alloy, and the influence to weld microstructure and properties of the hot deform and heat treatments.By vacuum -electron -beam weld of Ti3Al and TC11 the technology of hot die forging ,and then use different heat treatments ,study the influence law of the different degree of deform, different heat treatments to the microstructure and properties.The results of the experiments show that the Ti3Al-TCll dual alloys ,by vacuum-electron-beam weld ,hot die forging and 680C/12h,AC, heat treatments, have satisfied synthesis properties of intensity ,plasticity, hardness .And also it is the feasiblie way. This will establish the supporting technology for the manufacture of the compress disk in the areoengine.
