Open Cnc Intelligent Motion Controller

As one of the most important part of the modern industrial control, number control system and servo control of radar, motion controller will impinge on the control accuracy and speed of the system, it is placed between the software and hardware. Abroad, motion control already is a kind of domain and has got golden economic utility, but, domestic, it is curtail step and most is studying in theory. So it important to development a practical value motion controller in accelerating the domestic industrial control and processing and the study on motion control. This paper firstly appraises most of motion controller, domestically and abroad, and proposes the key technology of motion controller. Following, a development method of our motion control domain is proposed, based our actually technological ability, and put it into practice.Comparing with other mostly similar motion controller, this paper points out that the key technology of motion controller is to development the motion control IC (Integrated Circuit) .As mostly open motion controller is based on DSP IC, this paper advances a way to develop motion control IC by the technology of IP (Intellectual Property) core and programmable logic device. In this way, developer can offer the IC to others for sale, but the way based on DSP IC hardly does. In our research project, we also do the simulation by the software of MaxPlus, Quaturs and emulation board based IC EPM7128SLC84-15, and get the satisfied result.
