In this paper a kind of interferometric optical fiber gyroscopes based on Mach-Zehnder interferometric principle is proposed. The signals of this novel optical fiber gyroscope transmit along the positive direction, which avoid the interferometric noise, causing by the negative-directional scattering light and reflecting light, and the Kerr effect noise. In this novel optical fiber gyroscope the light power's utilization efficiency is high, the output signal is strong. The theory of this novel gyroscope is analysed, the output optical power formulae is deduced. The balance-output or the single-port-output can be used in this novel gyroscope, and the signal measure methods of the Sagnac interferometric optical fiber gyroscope can be used in it too. The theoretical analysis shows this MZ interferometric optical fiber gyroscope can be used to detect the rotation of the moving bodies.Because MZ interferometric optical fiber gyroscope has bigger nonreciprocal phase, the system thermal stability, polarization noise and the error caused by the fluctuation of light source is particular analysed, some effective methods is proposed such as: using the "quasi-white-light "interferometry and the fiber polish technology accurately to control the fiber length, using depolarization light to minish the polarization error, and using temperature control, optical power control and depolarizer to stabilize the output of the light source. A kind of single mode fiber MZ interferometric gyroscope is introduced, this kind of optical fiber gyroscope using depolarization light to minish the polarization noise has high performance and low price."quasi-white-light" interferometry is discussed in this paper, system's analysis and parameters' optimization have been done by means of MATLAB, "sweeping and descending method "is proposed to resolve the problem of blind areas. The analytic results show that this kind of interferometrys can measure the fiber length difference small than several microns.
