Spiral Sealed Structure Parameters To Optimize The Design, Experimental And Applied Research

The theoretic researches emphasize on working mechanism, ability of sealing fluid, influential factors of the helical axial seal and the optimal design of the seal's structural parameters has been performed. Based on the design for experiment of the helical axial seal in the laboratory, the working mechanism and the optimal results for the structural parameters of the helical axial have been verified, and then it is applied into the reforming of the equipments in the JinXi Petrochemical Complex where the author works.Primary work in the paper includes the followings :1. Based on investigation of relevant domestic and oversea information, the research on the mechanism of the helical seal is made further.2. The program for structural parameters' optimization of the helical axial seal is designed.3. Experiment of the helical axial seal in laboratory is designed and manufactured, and then working mechanism and optimal results for the structural parameters of the helical axial have been verified.4. Based on the optimal results of seal's structural parameters, a helical axial seal is used in the centrifugal pump.5. The structural design and application for combination between the helical axial seal and floating-ring seal have been performed.Main characteristics of the paper include the followings:1. Application on a program based on the language B6.0, the optimal program of seal's structural parameters is designed, according to the results running, the most optimal value of seal's structural parameters is got.2. Experiment of the helical axial seal in laboratory is designed, the experimental results have been analyzed and these experiments make the relevant mechanism and structural parameters of the helical axial more sure.3. According to the optimal structural parameters of the helical axial seal got from the experiment, it is used in the centrifugal pump successfully.4. Combination between the helical and floating -ring seal, the practical questions during the production have been solved.
