The analysis and simulation to the mechanical vibration and noise is an important part of realizing low-noise design of mechanical product in the design stage. The research of this paper starts from mechanical vibration, then goes deep into the noise radiation caused by vibration and calculates the relevant acoustic and pressure field. The purpose of this research lies in the virtual reality of the mechanical vibration and noise based on the above acoustic and pressure field. The meaning and innovation of this research is that it finished the study from the analysis of mechanical vibration to the computation of the noise acoustic field, and the whole simulation of the noise. It provided the meaningful new thoughts for the research of vibration and noise simulation, and promoted the research of the vibration and noise control. This paper also concluded kinds of numerical analysis methods and kinds of analysis software of solving the vibration and noise problem, and had a detailed presentation about the other parts of the noise simulation. The main content of this paper contains:Summarizing the foundational theory of vibration and noise, and establishing the analysis and computation flow chart of noise acoustic field of mechanical vibration;Taking a close drum shell as the research object, analyzing its dynamic characteristics and vibration response using finite element method, then going with the structural-acoustic coupling analysis based on the acoustic model analysis of the aerial intracavity of the close drum shell. It also does the structural-acoustic coupling harmonic response analysis with the external field of this model.Introducing the theory and application of boundary element method on the sound radiation, giving the process of solving vibration noise radiation problem using boundary element analysis software;Presenting the coupling theory and the combination analysis of finite element method and boundary element method, and doing relevant analysis based on close drum shell;Programming the noise data simulation program using the numerical calculation software, simulating the acoustic and pressure data of a key point in the transient response acoustic field of the close drum shell, realizing the audibility of the noise, using the virtual reality tools to simulate the vibration noise of the drum shell;Combining the finite element method and boundary element method to analyze the vibration noise radiation of some gear box, and completing the whole simulation process of the vibration noise of the gear box.
