Seventy percent city garbage sanitary landfills are valley landfills in our country, adopting grouting curtain has a large space for landfill vertical antiseeping projects. Clay-solidified grouting has been successfully applied in garbage sanitary landfills and tailing dams antiseeping projects, further studying its characters under long-term effects on leachate has important significance for popularizing application in antiseeping project of waste landfills. In this paper, Immersion test and column test are applied for typical poisonous substance (As5+ Mn2+ phenol ) reaction with the clay-solidified curtain in laboratory, so as to confirm the grouting curtain's chemistry compatibility, with the aid of atomic absorption spectrophotometry ultraviolet light absorption spectroscopy analytical tests, determine the diffusive depth and concentration spatial distribution of poisonous substance on grouting curtain thickness direction, and so, determine the retention capability of clay-solidified grout. The effects offer the theory sustain for popularizing application of clay-solidified grout.The studying result indicates that the chemistry compatibility of clay-solidified grouting curtain is excellent. The poisonous substance is commonly over 90 percent retarded by grouting curtain. The transport depth of heavy metals is in the first 3cm of grouting curtain columns. The effective running period of grouting curtain can achieve over 140 years. The effects show that clay-solidified grout can meet the antiseeping criterion of solid waste landfills.
