In this paper, based on the theory of conical hybrid bearing, for the first time, the mathematical model of the experiment of the dynamic characteristic for the three-dimensional oil film was established , at the same time the dynamic characteristic test for this kind of hybrid bearing was accomplished on the self-made test stand, the result of the test was also compared with the theoretical computation.First, in this article, the mathematical model of the experiment for the three-dimensional oil film and the computative formulas of the dynamic characteristic coefficients were deduced. So the experiment method was determined also. On the basis of the experiment method, we modified the structures and measures of one conical hybrid bearing having deep-shallow recesses and its test stand. During the experiment , to different rotational speed and different eccentricity, we stimulated the bearing in the directions of X. Y and Z independently . Then with the soft ware DASP2000 we collected and treated the responsive signals, used the strong power of MATLAB got the 18 dynamic characteristics of every rotational speed and every eccentricity for the first time. Based on the getting result, the comparison with the theoretical computation was done at the same time. At last, we deduced the decision standard about the stability of this kind bearing.The model and result of this experiment are the improvement relevant to the traditional two-dimensional oil film, so it will be of guidance significant to other extend study of this kind conical hybrid bearing in engineering application.
