As a kind of semi-rigid base material, lime flying-ash treated crushed stone aggregate mixture gets the extensive application in highway base course because of its good pavement performance. But in design and construction process, this kind of material hasn't shown its advantage for the reason of design method and material inappropriate choosing, and single appraisal in specification etc.Analyzed the domestic and international synthesised pavement performance of lime flying-ash treated crushed stone, the writer adopt bailey's method to analyze seven different representative gradation schemes; Meanwhile, the writer modified the design method of high performance lime flying-ash crushed stone, and analyzed the synthesised pavement performance of mixtures which were designed with this method. According to gray system theory, the primary and second factors influencing pavement performance such as maximum size of aggregate D, maximum dry density p , optimum water content co , aggregate content of 31.5mm-37.5mm, percentage of voids in different particle size aggregate(especial four particle sizes:2.36mm, 4.75mm, 9.5mm, 19.0mm) and lime flying-ash binder materials content etc. were discussed in this paper.This paper discussed shear strength theory of lime flying-ash treated crushed stone , put forward a new method of lime flying-ash mixture triaxial tests, analyzed the triaxial test stress-strain curve; This paper still studied the main factors that influenced shearing strength index and put forward the index of triaxial test shearing modulus.On the ground of the indoors research, combined research result, the writer built the test road. The result verify the accuracy of the indoors research.This research result has the important leading meaning in design and construction of lime flying-ash treated crushed stone semi-rigid base.
