This thesis presents on the decelerating process of the Shoulder-Launched Weapon, a theoretical study is performed on the engraving process of two pistons. With the ANSYS/LS-DYNA software, applying the CAD technology and the finite-element method (FEM), the research of simulation on the decelerating process and the paper presented the whole analysis process of the pistons. In the paper, the question of the boundary condition in the complicated engineering was explored and the stress field, energy dissipation and the deformation of the engraving process were computed and analyzed. At last according to the results, the paper gives some advices about the structure of the decelerating devices. This thesis deeply studies and analyses the numerical computation and simulation methods to dynamic response problem of the engraving process based on FEM numerical emulation and modem large-scale scientific computation software. Through the research work, the author has experienced the scientific computational methods and numerical simulation practice, which also laid a strong work background for further research on similar scientific questions by means of scientific computation.
