After introducing the constituent theory of optical fiber control and guide missile system, a question on how to increase the functionary distance of uplink transmission to long-distance (>60km ) in the optical fiber control and guide missile system is presented in the paper, on the basis of the available technology of control and guide transmission. Starting from the theory of the information transmission, a method to increase the transmission distance is proposed by improving the TDM (Time-division multiplexing) coding reasonably, diminishing the bandwidth requirement of transmitted signal, and reducing the bandwidth of the optical receiver.With the development of the digital communication and the data communication, also with the need of the realistic application, the multiplexing technology directs to unifying the digital transmission and the data transmission. In order to realize this unified and high-efficient transmission, the DTM and ATM technology are used. After analyzing the relational technology of multiplexing transmission in DTM and ATM, the method of DTM is presented to solve the distant transmission of control and guide instruction, on the basis of generalizing the previous research.In order to solve the increase of transmission distance and information, the DTDM is presented to achieve the purpose mentioned above on the basis of analyzing the available optical fiber transmission technology and data communication. The uplink multiplexing sample transmission system is realized by use of this technology. The indoor measure experiment is made using the testing system, and the deferment uncertainty of transmission is analyzed and estimated. The fact that DTDM can be used in the uplink transmission in the control and guide transmission system is totally proved, also grounds for the DTDM application in long-distance control and guide transmission.
