A Wide Range Of Double-barreled Forward Type Dc / Dc Converter Circuit Studies,

After reviewing the state of the art of DC/DC converting and analyzing the common DC/DC topology, a serial newly applied topology - Wide Range Dual Switch Forward DC/DC Converter are proposed. These topologies, combining advantages of single switch and dual switch forward DC/DC converters, are obtained by applying several classical reset schemes to dual switch forward DC/DC converter. These converters are attractive for high-level and wide range input, high efficiency occasion. Operation principle, design guides of main, control and driver circuits, and loss estimation for such topologies are presented. The remarkable experiment results, obtained from three 54V/5A-70kHz prototype, show the best features of these topologies.
