The danger of friction and getting an electric shock will be avoided ,and also the flexibility of power supply will be enhanced greatly by using non-contact transformer instead of the traditional transformer. This paper presents a novel non-contact charging circuit which is suitable for pocket electric appliance's charging after the drawback of the novel non-contact power transfer system. The circuit consists of a half bridge series resonant power converter, a non-contact transformer and full waveform rectifier. Based on the discussion of the application of soft-switching technique in power supply, The paper analyzes the effect of the technique of zero voltage switching in minishing the switch losses. The paper gives a modeling analysis of loosely coupled power transfer system and the primary and secondary capacitor compensation techniques are discussed. The stabilization of output is so important in charging circuit that the paper presents two closed loop control strategy which is suitable for non-contact charging circuit. At last , the application of the magnetic amplifier is introduced and a topology of voltage-steadying circuit and its working principle is proposed.
