Lime Pile Expansion Method To Reinforce The Theory Of Collapsible Loess And Experimental Research

Lime pile-loess composite foundation is a simple, economical and effective method for treating collapsible loess foundation, which has been wildly used in engineering practices. But the theory study about lime pile composite foundation falls far behind the engineering practice. So, In this paper, the basic behavior of lime and the bearing mechanism of lime pile composite foundation are explored.As has been testified that the emphasis should be the strength (or stiffness) of pile materials to improve the bearing capacity and to reduce settlement of composite foundation. By doing so, the upper load can be transferred by pile to deeper and more spacious subsoil below the foundation.lt is considered about not only the bearing capacity of pile,but also the the bearing capacity of soil, and they should be combinated compactly.The typical example is the lime pile-soil composite foundation that expressed this idea.On the scientific achievement finished by predecessor, the practice explore in theory , the swelling capacity resulted from lime pile By doing laboratory experiments,the latrel compression stress ,the pore-solids ratio should be changed and the bearing capacity should be enhaused.the strength of the lime-soil mixture and its factors are studied.The lenth of the lime pile is expored in this paper too.On the other side,through a serial of experiment in the lab,the relational curve is described that physic property of dynamatic of loess in the center chaged about time varying the design of mix proportion and triangular side ditch of llime pile.lt shows the law about the ration of water content,dry density,wet density,tation of pore solids resulted from the varying the dislengh of lime pile. As the result,the lime pile play a important role on the result of hustling collapsible loess.The mix proportion of lime pile does this ,too.Water content and the time of maintenance do this also.It is stiff significate that the phenomenon of stress concentration in thelLime lile-loess composite foundation because of the lime pile.Under the load,the material of bedding course drift ,loess could be compacted with the base ,the ratio of lime pile and loess could be adjusted so that the bearing capacity of loess between lime pile is improved.
