The traditional vehicles suspension system, which is designed on a special road surface status and car running performance, those damper of damp characteristic cannot mix, is passive system. When road surface status and car running performance beyond the design qualification, fixed damp characteristic of passive system's reducing shake's effect will be reduced. At latest years, because of low price and simple make-techniques relatively, suspension system of semi-active control can improve the comfort of riding and the stability of steering , adapt to vehicles system very well, and study on it have great progress, get abroad attention of the academe and industry.Among the key of semi-active suspension system is which should have real time damper. Practice proved, magnetorheological damper carry out the transition between Newton flow and Bingham flow, which is based on the operation of the additional magnetic field, can provide damp power which can be controlled, and which has some excellences, such as simple structure, little using power, resisting pollution and big output power, etc, can be used on semi-active control actually. This paper, which is based on studying status, carries the theoretic analysis and research through the establishment and analysis of the design, making, calculating model, control, simulate of the magnetorheological damper.The full text divides into six chapter altogether.Chapter one is the introduction that has explained the purpose and meaning of a subject research. On the basis of summarizing development overview of the automobile-used damping device, intellectual material and equipment systematically, combining the present jobs and existing question at present on the subject, the paper has proposed the main imagination and content.Chapter two has introduced the basic theories and influence factor of the magnetorheological fluid and the magnetorheological effect, setting up mechanics model of the magnetorheological fluid.Chapter three according to the characteristic of the magnetorheological damping device , combining the relation between a composition of the magnetorheological fluid and magnetic circuit Ohm's law, has confirmed the design principle of the magnetic circuit of the magnetorheological damper andstructure.Chapter four has designed magnetorheological suspension on the basis of fuzzy control, has carried on the simulation test.Chapter five has summarized and probed into some questions existing and practical application in the design of the magnetorheological damper at present, putting forward the corresponding improvement measures.Chapter six has summarized conclusion and the main research results of this text, provide the conclusion: magnetorheological damper on the basis of the mixing work pattern being of simple structure, of good damping result, it is a kind of more ideal vehicle that reduces shake of the equipment. The article pointed out several problems that need studying further finally.Because this subject involves such a lot of discipline domains as physics, chemistry, material science, mechanics, etc in extensive range, so the place of the insufficient and defect is unavoidable in the article.
