It is a well established fact that the oscilloscope has made great progress. With digital technology, an oscilloscope has become an intelligent instrument with functions: waveform display, parameter measurement, detecting, analyze, storage, and so on. The task is a part of the project of 500MHz random sampling wideband digital storage oscilloscope. The oscilloscope's real time sampling is up to 500Msps with functions: storage, automatic parameter measurement, signal analysis, lag and lead capture, automatic setup, automatic emendation. Especially signal analysis is one of the important functions. Therefore, this thesis emphasize on elaborating the arithmetic analysis, software realizing of digital signal processing, and measure parameter arithmetic of digital oscilloscope. In this thesis, the waveform is processed by methods of FFT, STFT, Coefficient of association, Differential, Integral, Statistic Analysis, etc. By means of research on signal processing arithmetic and software realizing of digital signal processing, I accomplished the functions of analysis in frequency domain, time domain and time-frequency domain, so that the user can make a comprehensive analysis of waveform data received. On the other hand, current waveform can be transferred to PC through RS232 serial port for parameters measurement, marker measuring, FFT, and so forth, to achieve emulating partial functions of digital oscilloscope. Additionally, user can analyze the waveform data more deeply.
