Reversible addition-fragmentation transfer (RAFT) polymerization wasstudied. ABA type triblock copolymers P (St-r-AMA) -b-P (St-alt-MAn) -b- P(St-r-AMA) and PS-b-P (St-alt-MAn) -b-PS were successfully synthesized byRAFT polymerization. The molecular weight distribution index (PDI) of triblockcopolymer can be controlled between 1.38-1.49.The anhydride group in block copolymer can react respectively with Y -Aminepropyi trimethoxysilane or di-amine di-phenyl methane or t- methyl aniline, and self-assemble simultaneously. After reaction and self-assembly, we can get stable star-like polymers. The micro morphology of star polymers were studied by Transmission Electron Microscope(TEM), and result shows that star-like polymers are spheroid and their diameter be twenty nanometers and five hundred nanometers respectively.The star-like polymers solution in carbon disulfide solvent can form highly regular porous film under the help of the humid condition and humid airflow. These highly regular hexagonal arrays are the result of the water droplets. Pore size can be from hundred nanometers to micron. These film can widely been applied to biotechnology, display technology and electronics field.These polymers were analyzed with FT-IR, GPC and NMR. The micromorphology of star polymers was studied by TEM and DLS. The ordered porous films were studied by SEM and optical microscope.
