In the refrigeration system using industrial waste heat, ammonia-water absorption refrigeration system has much more superiority than LiBr-water absorption system。However the COP of conventional ammonia-water absorption refrigeration system is relatively smaller because of its more equipments, larger volume and more steel consumption。So how to overcome the defect of the ammonia-water absorption refrigeration system and improve its COP is the key job in the extending application of the ammonia-water absorption refrigeration system。Given the problem mentioned above, in this paper we put forward a new ammonia-water absorption refrigeration system called GAX cycle。GAX cycle can recover the heat released by the absorption process in the absorber and supply to the generator which use it as heat consumption in the generation process。Through the heat recovery between the absorber and the generator the COP can be increased and the performance of the absorption system can be improved。 In this thesis we carry out the detailed theoretical analysis and mathematical simulation for the GAX cycle from the various aspects such as cycle constitution, system working condition, performance change。Because heat source temperature, evaporation temperature, cooling water temperature and other working condition variables are the important factors which do much influence on the performance of the absorption system,an overall comparative analysis has been done according to the different temperature conditions and different cycle types。In this way ,we obtain many fundamental theories and performance trends in the practical application of the GAX cycle. In the thesis theoretical research and calculation of GAX cycle were studied。The main contains are as follows:Realize the computer calculation of the ammonia-water state parameter which can settle the problem resulted by the calculation complexion in the design of the ammonia-water system.Through the comparative analysis of the GAX cycle and normal cycle, obtain the performance change trend and comparative superiority of the GAX cycle under different temperature working condition。At the same time obtain many conceptions such as the critical heat source temperature and critical evaporation temperature which will do much good to the optimizing selection and design analysis of the GAX cycle。Carry out the exergy analysis rarely made in the energy and performance analysis of the absorption system。This kind of analysis is based on the quality view of energy as well as the quantity view so it can supply a comprehensive and scientific evaluation to the performance of GAX cycle.A simple and distinct mathematical simulation has been put forward according to the principle of the corresponding GAX cycle。According to the simulation of GAX cycle a calculation software of various GAX cycles was also programmed by using VB computer language。Thus a more convenient and more accurate method was realized and it can make the calculation and analysis of GAX cycle more efficient and scientific.
