The BJ3043E model dump truck is a kind of vehicle for field task designed and manufactured by Beijing Automobile Manufacture Assemble Plant. Because of disfigurement on design, fatigue cracks appear on the frame after working in scurvies condition within three to five months. In this paper, using the super FEM analysis software ALGOR FEAS, the reason for engendering fatigue crack of frame is studied deeply and the improved scheme is put forward.In this paper, frame FEM computation model taking plate as basic unit is established. Based on this model, firstly, static stress is analyzed and the stress distribution of frame under various static working condition is attained; secondly, modal analysis of frame is carried out and natural frequency and modes of this frame is received; finally, random vibration is analyzed and displacement and stress reaction stimulated by road surface is attained .In terms of the FEM computation results under practical working environment of frame ,the reason for frame fatigue crack appearing in the early stage is analyzed. The modification scheme to the frame that has appeared fatigue crack and hasnt appeared is put forward. At the same time, a kind of design idea to this frame is brought forward.The frame FEM analysis method and process of BJ3043E dump truck in this paper is applied to the design and analysis of all kinds of frame.
