Tire is an important safety part of automobile. Traffic accident will occur if tire is under overloaded, long-working or high-pressure. TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) can monitor the tire's interior temperature and instantaneous pressure, which can alarm to avoid accidents when high-pressure, low-pressure or high-temperature occurs.This thesis mainly discusses TPMS based on multi-sensor information fusion. The paper introduces the technology of sensor and theory of multi-sensor information fusion, and finds a solution to demonstrating fusion scheme. The model of TPMS based on multi-sensor information fusion is constructed to monitor the tire's pressure and temperature roundly, and to avoid false information farthest. Sensor is selected on the model. Structure design of TPMS based on multi-sensor information fusion is put out, which improves correctness of alarm through offering more functions that eliminate the false information and tell which sensor is disabled. The instance is given to validate that the model is viable and scientific. Simulation on LabVIEW includes gathering information, fusing information and alarm. Many instances of simulation are offered, such as disabled sensor, high-pressure & high-temperature and low-pressure. The result, which is provided by comparing the simulation data with the academic data, proves that the TPMS is scientific and applied. The experiment of ordinary TPMS offers experiences of installation, which proves that the TPMS is credible and applied.
