Collapsible loess areas are about 60% of loess in our country, it's main character is compressibility and collapsibility, it will be compressed and collapsed to settlement when meet water. The many multistory buildings are based on natural foundation or simply treated shallow foundation, after many years using, many of the buildings have declined because of unequal settlement which caused by pipeline leakage or rain water soakage. To ensure safely usage of these buildings rectification must be taken. In allusion to the expansive method on collapsible loess, by many rectifying methods some anticipative purpose can be obtained In some situations only for Project applications, but these methods are based on knowledge of experience, there are lack of corresponsive theoretical guidance, the qualitative analysis are considered as the only basis of technical treatment, therefore it lacks of technical process of the quantitative calculation and has some indecisive property. Approved by many engineering practices , conventional rectified and reinforced technology will unavoidably bring Into some phenomena of taking time and a lot of troubles, and indeed just the opposite to what one wishes, will lead to rectified and reinforced technology failure. In this paper, a calculate formula that based on elasticity theory is proposed firstly, then the computational formula for application amount of expanding material is deduced by using pore extruding principle, lastly, model test research wascarried. At the same time, some conclusions are drawn: 1) the relationship between the amount of quicklime pile and the quantity of settlement; 2) The relationship between the amount of quicklime pile and lateral drift; 3) the superimposed stress's changing during quicklime pile expanding.
