In this paper, a new conductive polymer 3, 4-polyethylene dioxythiophene (PEDT) was manufactured by chemical method. The PEDT's performance such as conductivity and thermal stability was studied. On the base of these works, The PEDT was used for the negative pole of the solid electrolytic capacitors. The manufacturing processes and the related principles of the solid electrolytic capacitors negative pole were discussed. The primary works we have done are below: â‘ . The PEDT film is deposited on the glass base , the affect of the processing conditions to the conductivity of PEDT films has also been analyzed, the processing condition includes the polymerizing temperature, the state of the polymer material, the polymerization correctives, the drying temperature, and the amount of the solution etc. â‘¡.Through exploring the filming processes of the PEDT negative pole, we found a proper processing condition. In conclusion, based on the application of the PEDT material on the solid electrolytic capacitors, the related principles and varieties of processing conditions is discussed in detail. This has provided an essential work for the further research on the negative pole materials of the organic electrolytic capacitors.
