Based on the research on the theory and technology of dual-PWM variable frequency AC motor control, a design of dual-PWM variable frequency AC motor control system which has factor control loop rectifier and slip frequency speed regulator is proposed. A 4 KW dual-DSP, dual-PWM AC motor development platform is manufactured following this design. AC motor functions properly on this platform, through software program and debugging. Computer simulation and electronic experiment methods are implemented to the design and research process.The basic structure, operation principle, mathematical model and universal control methods of PWM rectifier are studied in this paper. Then base on the current tracing PWM rectifier, a new structure is proposed by introducing a power factor adjuster in to realization power factor variable PWM rectifier unit. Computer simulation is the main technique method in this design work. Based on MATLAB/SIMULINK graphical simulation environment simulation experiments are implemented to test the different system parameter configurations. Finally, the validity of this design is confirmed by the simulation result.In the study of PWM inverter and variable frequency AC motor control system, several control methods are analyzed. Utilization of PWM technique in variable frequency AC motor control system is the focus of this part. Application approaches of SPWM &SVPWM pulse base on the control system are also mentioned. Following the slip frequency AC motor control theory, through software program and debugging accomplish feedback parameter regulation, AC motor functions properly.The scientific research mentioned in this paper is the practice and exploring based on dual-PWM variable frequency AC motor control theory. It forms the foundation of following study and research.
