Since China has been founded, it has built thousands of dams. Dams safety inspection has played a very important role in its long time stable working. So, it will be meaningful to delve into the research of dam safety inspection techniques.Distributed optical temperature measurement and signal processing is a newly established multi-disciplined applied technology along with recent rapid developments in the fields of electronics, communication and information system, photo-electricity, optical fiber sensor as well as auto-control. The distributed optical fiber temperature sensor system can monitor many points' temperature (or other physics variability such as strain) along a single optical fiber at same time, and can locate the position of temperature field by means of OTDR.Geographic Information System is a computer system, which collects, manages, analyzes and shows spatial data, it adopts geographical method to provide spatial and dynamic information and help humanity do research and make decision.Practice indicates that GIS's strong ability of management of spatial data and spatial analysis and data visual output can effectively settle the limitation of spatial data and attribute data separate, and remarkably lighten the planning engineer's burden and heighten the accuracy of decision-making.WebGIS is a development direction of GIS, the author puts forward a fourties architecture composing web client, web server, application server and database server and does research on GIS data.
