Early As The Age Of Mechanical Properties Of Concrete Of Goods Pilot Study

Few studies have been done about the early age mechanical properties of concrete at home and abroad, especially about the premixed concrete at early age So the developing rules with age of the cube compressive strength the tensile strength and the elastic tensile modulus of premixed concrete are presented in this paper, at the same time, the premixed concrete does not reach the final designing strength still in the curing and construction period This paper provides a basis of concrete structure for checking computations and the control of cracks during construction ,As results of 183 cubic specimens, compressive tests in 5 ages, a formula for computing the cubic compressive strength of concrete in different ages under standard curing conditions, which coincides with not only the premixed concrete but alse the ordinary concrete and has better suitability than the U.S.A Code and the Europe Code The tensile strength of concrete is usually obtained by splitting test, which is an indirect method the paper designs the experimental apparatus for concrete of the direct tension, which resolves the difficulty of ensuring that the load is truly axial, at the same time, the making of the specimens is easy and cheapo The method in this paper which is used to measuring the direct tensile strength is suggested to further application The splitting tensile method for the tensile strength of concrete is usually used in structural applications, so there is great importance in the investingating the relation between the direct tensile strength and the splitting strength, which have been obtained in this paper on the base of tests The related literatures about elastic tensile modulus of concrete in home and abroad is few, so the relation between elastic tensile modulus of concrete and varying ages is found out in this paper.
