In this paper, the quasi-dimension combustion model of Santana 2000 AJRLPG(Liquefied Petroleum Gas) engine was established with the physical andchemical properties of LPG studied and the combustion characteristics of LPGanalyzed. A generally functional software can be used easily in the cyclesimulation of LPG engine based on the computer programming language: VisualBasic 6.This model is based on the dual-area thermodynamics model and iscomposed of thermophysical parameter calculation submodel, flamepromulgating submodel, the lose of heat transfer submodel,the combustionchamber geometrical relationship calculation submodel, and so on. LPGEngine's performance can be predicted and some advices about LPG engine'soptimal design can be given with engine's structure parameter, controlparameter and operation parameter put into the software.In the end, comparision and analysis between the indicator diagrammeasured and obtained under special operating through experiment and theresults obtained through simulation calculation shows that they agree with eachother well and this model is feasible and applicable.
