The project studied in the paper roots in the demonstration project of YK-CIMS at Yunnan Switches Factory. This paper is finished on the basis of accomplishing the study of spring operating mechanism which can coincides with LW □-126 outdoor, self-energy arc-extinguishing SF6 circuit breaker self—designed by Yunnan Switches Factory.Based on the broken reasons of rolling contact bearing, accurate 3D-solid model of disc cam and rolling contact bearing in the spring operating mechanism was built via the software of UG and successfully imported to the finite element software of ANSYS. The dynamic simulating analysis of disc cam and rolling contact bearing in the spring operating mechanism was performed in ANSYS/LS-DYNA and got some key data of contact forces in the collision process. In order to meet the demand of specialized rolling contact bearing in Yunnan Switches Factory, this paper used APDL to develop several specialized program modules that will be applied in design and calculation of rolling contact bearing in the software of ANSYS. And then, this paper analyzed rolling contact bearings with these specialized program modules, and compared the results in different conditions. The comparison has proved that these specialized program modules are correct and practicable and can be used to analyze other specialized rolling contact bearing.From the paper, we can obviously conclude that the finite element method software like ANSYS have noted effects and foreground in analysis of dynamic simulation and design and analysis of rolling contact bearing. Finite element technology can quickly simulate real-time movement process of analytic model, which can greatly reduce expensive and time-consuming manufacture of analytic model and test stage. Meanwhile, this paper supplies methods and applying experience for application of finite element in the process of new products development, and supplied effective methods for shortening the period for developing new products, reducing development costs and improving products quality.
