Asphalt Mixture Performance Evaluation

Nowadays, there are all kinds of test methods and evaluation indexes of evaluating the performances of fatigue cracking, permanent deformation and low-temperature cracking. With the development of the highway in our country, the existing evaluation indexes become more and more unsuitable. It is necessary to choose unified and suitable test methods and indexes as soon as possible to reduce the early destructive phenomena occurred in asphalt pavement.This paper chooses test methods and indexes on the principle that they should be objective and accurate, economical and feasible, simple and convenient, easy to popularize. Through comparing and analyzing the testing equipments, experimental conditions and influence factors of the existing test methods, this paper put forwards suitable test methods of evaluating the performance of asphalt mixture. And on this basis, it recommends the corresponding evaluation indexes and it also provides the computing technologies and gives demonstrations.
