Moving-magnet reciprocating linear motor is a new type of single phase linear motor, compared to the conventional rotary motor , linear motor can be used in some special places where linear driving is needed, complex motion transferred mechanisms can be leaved out, and the efficiency can be promoted a lot;compared to the linear motor, the single phase reciprocating linear motor can be used for in some places where linear reciprocating motion is needed, such as linear compressor, blood pump, and so on, and it has higher efficiency and simpler more compact structure.This thesis focuses on the energy-saving refrigerator as the starting point, it takes the linear reciprocating motor for the linear compressor as the researching object, employing the equivalent magnetic circuit method, finite element method as the main tools, calculating some important parameters of the linear motor: we build up two equivalent magnetic circuit models for the cubic motor and the round motor, based on the equivalent magnetic circuit method, their electromagnetism force formulation are deduced, and their dynamic equation , voltage equation are established. We get the result of the differential equations using Runge-Kutta Method;Using software to build the finite element model for the linear motors, the magnetic lines are calculated, and the Displacement-time curve, the Current-time curve, and the Force-time curve of the round motor are calculated. Based on the calculation result, we designed two motors.Experimentation is a important approach to test the rationality of the design. A scientific testing system is established. Parameters such as displacement, voltage, current, power, power factor are obtained from the research of characteristic of the sample. It is proved that this type of compressor has such advantages: low friction loss, oil-free operation;continuously modulated operation;High COP throughout operating range.
