Appliances Noise Source Characteristics And Ornamental Plants For Indoor Noise Sound Field

With the rapid development of cities' modernization, the kinds of noise source and its impact mode have changed a lot. Researches show that social activities have become the most significant sources of noise in many cities in our country instead of transportation' network and industry. On the other hand, along with the elevation of people' s standard of living, abundance living assistant equipments has been used and the indoor noise has been changed. All sorts of electric appliance have taken the place of people's activities to become the most important social activities noise source.In this paper, by the survey of the distributing of electric appliance and testing the frequency spectrum characteristic of noise of electric appliance, we have known that the noise of electric appliance is a kind of low-frequency noise. On the other hand, by testing the effect of ornamental on the distributing of the sound field, we found that the sound pressure level and reverberation time wound be influenced by ornamental. This provides a new method for reducing the low-frequency noise in a room.
