| In collapsible loess district, there are many buildings' sloping disasters because of loess foundation's water-collapse. When the gradient of slope exceeds the specified standard, the buildings can't put into service normally and need correct.The author analyses the reason of the probable problems such as not inclination, rapid inclination and reversed inclination in tilt correction by injecting water. Through compression test in lab, the author analyses the relation of compression deformation and moisture content in loess, and divides water-collapse deformation into three stages that are insensitivity, sensitization and consumering sector. Which are correspondence to not inclination, rapid inclination and reversed inclination in tilt correction engineering. The author analyses the rule of infiltration by injecting water in loess, establishes moisture content and infiltration peak function of level and vertical, and firstly applies them to the distance design between buildings with water injection pipe, pit or slot, which supply theory basis for tilt correction by injecting water.The author analyses character of infiltration by injecting water, and studies the mechanics of tilt correction by injecting water. Under the condition of tilt correction by injecting water, the foundation settlement can divide to four stages that are flat I ,rapid rising, flat II and consolidation stage. The author puts forward the rising stage is the key stage and has danger easily. The author establishes the initial condition and calculation model and designs the water injecting method and operation process.The conclusions show that the loess infiltration character can determinate the distance in water injection pipe, pit or slot, and tilt correction by injection water design has controllability.
