| As tunnels are important structures of highway projects, the treatments of fissure in the lining of tunnels play great roles in the safety operation of tunnels. For the mechanics complexity of multiple-arch tunnels, it becomes more significant that prevention, cure and control of lining fissure of multiple-arch tunnels should be studied. Depending on some speedway tunnel in Shan'xi province, this article not only concludes the causation and developing process of lining fissure in multiple-arch tunnels by the means of investigation on the spot, numerical statement and analysis of the lining fissure, but also makes analysis of distribution and growing rules of lining fissure through numerical simulation of lining fissure by making use of the large-scaled software named ANSYS, which is applied to the finite element research. On the basis of the treatments of lining fissure on the spot, the author discusses the carbon fiber strengthening and reinforcement technology, then makes numerical modeling for the reinforced tunnel and validates the efficiency of carbon fiber strengthening and reinforcement so as to put proposal for the prevention, cure and control of lining fissure in the multiple-arch tunnels.
