The dissertation expatiate the meaning of the aesthetics in bridge, represent the development of the aesthetics in bridge and the form design of bridge, and also generalize the recognized aesthetics guideline of bridge.The dissertation investigates the form design of the main beam or girder of the bridge comprehensively and thoroughly. Expounded the characteristic of the form design of the main beam of bridge, the dissertation represent several special form design of bridge. It dissertate the numerous form of the main beam(girder) exclude the conventional box girder and plate girder which is devised during the development of the long-span bridge. It point out that the form design of the main beam(girder) must not only meet the aesthetics guideline of itself, but also be consistent with the concept design of the whole bridge.The dissertation summarize the theories of the wind resistance,and formulate the bridge's static and dynamic reaction to wind. The dissertation generalize theory of flutter and other wind-generated vibration,and epitomize the pop and the difficult problem of wind engineering. The dissertation study the wind resistance performance of the main beam(girder) of the super long-span bridge.It discuss the effect of the centre barrier . the shape of the fairing open slot, horizontal guide plate and the wind sheid on the wind resistance performance of the main beam(girder). The paper compares the wind resistance performance of numerous typical form of main beam(girder),thus, present some reference to the reseach of the form of the main beam(girder) of the super long-span bridge.Set an example of SanChaJiXiangJiang Bridge,the paper estimates the aesthetics of the form of the suggested main beams,which use the evaluationg method founded on the fuzzing mathematics.The paper also analyse the suggested cross-sections on their wind resisitance performance by numerical analysis and wind tunnel experiment, thus, deliver the recommended form of main girder combining the wind resisting analysis and numerical analysis.
