On the background of the practical strengthening project of Wuhan-Huangshi Expressway, spurting concrete gradation, working technology and the situation that spurting concrete applied to the work of bridge rehabilitation was studied in this paper. First, the best gradation of C30 spurting concrete and the effect that the amount of silt additive on the concreting time were studied. Second, study was also carried out on working technology of spurting concrete, aim for that spurting concrete adopts the characteristic of vertical spurt applied in slab bridge reinforcement. Third, based on this characteristic, the calculating method of ultimate bending strength, delayed strain and deflection, were put forwarded, and the calculating theory and shrinkage of composition section was analyzed. Also, the best plan of slab bridge reinforcement in theory is analyzed. Finally, through calculating and analyzing of strain and deflection of the part of Wuhan-Huangshi Expressway that adopted the spurting concrete reinforcement, study of the practical reinforcement result of this method was done. The research results of this paper can give reference to research and application of such way of bridge reinforcement.
