| The primary task of railway operation is to ensure the safety of train running. The train running monitor & record device is a safeguard under continuous improvement. It plays a very important role in prevention of mal-signaling and over-speed, and could reduce train running accidents, improve passenger environment and locomotive management.LKJ2000 train running monitor & record device is a new generation of monitor device developed in China, which representing the state-of-the-art domestic technical level in the field. The author was involved in the development, design, debug and field commissioning of the monitor & record boards, analog input/output boards, digital input board along with digital input/output boards. He was responsible for the development and design of the power supply boards, and is taking part in the field technical service and training. Besides, he was participating the edition of "service manual for LKJ2000 train running monitor & record device" and "LKJ2000 train running monitor & record device" . In the thesis, in the light of the detailed design of the device, the characteristics, functions and main parameters are introduced based on the analysis of the velocity monitor principle. Hardware and software design principle are presented as well as the design principle and method of the boards. The reliability and safety of the device is analyzed and redundancy design is finished. Comparison and analysis is done to the redundancy structure in a way of mathematical calculation. The effect and practical measures are studied of the EMC technology and failure detection technology on improvement of reliability. The importance, principles and design method of failure safety are elaborated.The device has been widely applied in Chinese railways and is quite effective in protection of railway safety, prevention and reduction of train running accidents. It features dramatic social and economic benefits. |
