The development trend of aero-engines control system is distributed control system(DCS) which is decreased greatly in weight and cost, and still has the characters of excellent performance and reliability. The research result demonstrates that the advantages of substituting the distributed control system for the centralized control system can catch up with that of substituting the full authority digital electronic control(FADEC) for the traditional mechanical & hydraulic control. This paper analyzed the structures, characters and functions of the aero-engines distributed control system and compared several distributed data bus. Finally, a design of distributed control system for aero-engines is presented based on DSP and CAN. In this design, engine electronic controller(EEC) is simulated by industrial computer;smart sensors and actuators are controlled by DSP;CAN bus is chosen as communication bus.In the paper, engine electronic controller(EEC) which is fit for distributed system is designed from the way of hardware and software, such as regular pulse generator. As to data bus, the CAN bus interface is carried out for EEC and smart modules, the communication protocol of CAN2.0 is extended and necessary program has been written. The circuits and related software of the smart temperature sensor, smart speed sensor, smart position actuator are designed successfully. In laboratory, the physical model of the distributed controller system for aero-engines which can fit the basic requirements of the distributed control system has been established. All the paper had done should have contributed to the study of aero-engines distributed control system.
