Nowadays, the energy and pollution problems gradually growing, the world is paying more attention to the electrical vehicles because of the no pollution and low noise. And the world is trying to put forward the green power sources, and also pay attention to the related industry. As one of the most important system in the electrical vehicles —BMS (battery monitor system) become a important role.First, analyze the work principle of the zinc power battery and the charging /discharging future in detail, supply the main factor of the battery's SOC and the remain energy value of the battery. From different ways to show the advantage of the zinc power battery, and the battery emluator model is founded . The emluator model is used to emulate the EV running on the road. By the MATLAB/SIMULINK, we get the relation curves from battery model.Also, the battery monitor system based on the CAN bus is designed, which use the 89C52 as the mcu, finishing the AD converting circuit, CAN controller module and signal processing circuit. This hardware platform can measure the voltage and current. Based on the battery future, we propose a fast method to estimate the health of the battery.The communication system is based on the CAN bus, also including the communication between the mcu and the pc. The software on the pc is designed to receive the data from the mcu and analyze the data in order to tell the healthy state of the battery.Then , the DC—DC using the BOOST circuit designed for the power supply, we use the power chip TL497.
