Tire Pressure Monitoring System (tpms) Designed

This thesis is part of the design of "Embedded Portable Navigator Integrated with The Function of Digital Memory" (Project No. 2004D40001), one of the projects sponsored by Zhejiang Province Medium and Small Scale Enterprises Technology Innovation Fund.With the development of social economy and technology, Road transportation has been playing more and more important role in our life. But the traffic accident attached do a great damage to our life and make a lot loss to economy. Tire blowout is the main cause. The key point to avoid tire blowout is to hold standard pressure and aware of the leakage of tire in time. Tire Pressure monitor system (TPMS) is mainly used to monitor tire pressure when running and alarm the leakage and low pressure of tire, so it is a safeguard to drivers and passengers.From different views, including theory, hardware and software design introduces the history, actuality and the future of TPMS and analysis the structure and work principle of WSB TPMS and PSB TPMS, the paper decripts the key technology points for TPMS, and puts the emphases on the design of hardware and software about a PSB TPMS based on MPXY8020A, MC68HC908RF2,MC33594 and MC68HC908GT8, and the program running on the Embedded navigation system belonged to the project "Embedded Portable Navigator Integrated With The Function Of Digital Memory". At last the paper gives the result of the TPMS running and summarizes the research course and advances the prospect of project. Compared with others the TPMS use SCI to store realtime data and change the fixed parameters. So it has good application. The program is written in embedded C, and is portable and convenient to upgrade. This system covers many fields such as signal measurement, MCU system, RF transmission etc. After many times' testing and running, the system runs steadily and reliably.
