With the development of science, new method is used in fighter plane and missile design, and new material is used in fighter plane and missile production, which make them have higher speed, higher maneuvering, smaller radar cross section and better jamming and anti-jamming ability. All these development is a big challenge to surface-to-air missile and makes the battlefield environment more complicated. In this situation, the tracking stability, guidance accuracy, attacking distance and anti-jamming ability of single-mode guidance is not satisfied for modern war. So multi-mode compound guidance and data fusion technology appear. TVM guidance as a subfield of multi-mode compound guidance is be paid more attention to and researched on by many countries because of its advanced technology.In this dissertation, data fusion problem in TVM guidance is studied. The main content of this dissertation is as following:1. Research on single target tracking problem. Considering the character of TVM guidance and the signal received by radar antenna, the extended kalman filter is used to track single target.2. Study the data fusion algorithm used in TVM guidance. On the basis of learning the theory of data fusion, firstly, some kinds of data-association algorithm is discussed. Then, the data fusion algorithm is improved. The normal method of data fusion from measurement is to calculate the weight coefficient from the measurement, and the weight coefficient is consistent in data fusion process. In order to use in TVM guidance, we take the distance between target and measurement device into the calculation of weight coefficient. In tracking and guiding, weight coefficient is changed with the distance between target and measurement device.3. Simulate data fusion algorithm used in TVM guidance. In order to prove the data fusion algorithm work correctly, three kinds of tracks of moving target is tracked, and improved proportional navigation method is used to navigate the surface-to-air missile to target.4.
