At present, more and more people focus on the research of the Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) echo signal simulator, which is the necessary instrument for the design, research and test of SAR system, and have already completed the SAR echo signal simulator based on point target and simple distributed target. But in our nation, it has not been focused on until recently, hence need more research.According to the generation approaches of SAR echo signal and the results of DSP realization, this dissertation combines the requirement of SAR's original echo signal simulator to do the work of algorithm research, DSP realization and so on, which includes the process of theory research, scheme design, software design, realization and debugging. The main tasks are as follows:1. While the methods of SAR echo in time and frequency domain been presented, the precision and realization of them are analyzed.2. Completed the system design and function compartmentalization, which are related to DSP model.3. Based on four ADSP-TS203s board and two ADSP-TS101s evaluation board structure, completed each software model design separately and realized each software module by assemble language.4. Completed the protocols design and assemble of the interface between DSP and PCI by language realization, as well as the interface between DSP and FPGA.5. Realize the timing control between all the software modules, including interface modules.6. Completed software loading as well as the debugging and analysis of all the modules, and then tested each software module, successfully realized the timing control and data transmission between modules.The research results indicate that this system is coincident with the project's demand in function. And the main parameters gained by test reach the project's design demand.
