Currently, performance-based seismic design of structures has become one of the world's study hotspots in civil engineering domain. One of the theoretical foundations of this study should be the structural reliability theory. Currently, National Codes are only on the cross- sectional reliability level, but the higher reliability cross-sections may not form a higher-reliability structure. One of the key problems on the structural system reliability theory is the failure correlation problem. Following the PNET method, and based on the different assumptions on failure correlation, many different system reliability calculating methods have been proposed, but there are little reports on the testing validate on the structural dependent failures. Under the continuing funds of the National Natural Science Foundation, and based on the Monte-Carlo random simulation methods, Wang Dongwei and his students have being done numerous statistical analyses on the RC frameworks, shear walls and brick structures, and it has been obtained some of the failure correlation laws under small earthquakes, medium earthquakes and great earthquakes respectively.Theoretical analysis, experimental validation and engineering practice are the three pillars of the establishment and development of structural engineering disciplines. Reinforced concrete frame structure is one of the main forms of industrial and civil constructions, for further validating and summing up the correlation of the failure constraints of the reinforced concrete frameworks, under the fund of The National Natural Science Foundation " earthquake vulnerability and failure correlation analysis of structures based on the static elasticity and plasticity analysis " (No: 50178064), this paper designed three pieces of the symmetric and asymmetric three-bay-two-storey framework models, and based on the Pseudo-Dynamic Testing method, it has been analyzed the characteristics and the rules of the failures of the cross-sectional constraints. It expects to provide the experiment supporting on the structural dependent failure theory.
