Continuous rigid-frame bridges become more and more popular in bridge engineering and are widely used in highway and railway engineering. But the unmatched condition is that the seismic responses of this type of bridges are very complex, and the seismic design, analysis and evaluation are still very difficult. The study on the seismic response analysis of continuous rigid-frame bridge is full of great significance both in the theoretical area and in the practical applications. In this thesis,Horizontal seismic response analysis of continuous rigid-frame bridge of single thin pier, namely Sanshui Second Bridge, was conducted.the main work are listed as follows:1. Establishing calculation model of bridge;considering the influence of the pile-soil interaction dynamic water and different depth of water to the seismic response of the bridge;2. Obtaining maximum graphics of girder, pier and pile in the analysis of response-spectrum and time-history;3. Obtaining some valueable conclusions based of the study on results of spectral analysis and dynamic time-history analysis.①Partial response of girder, pier and pile in considering the pile-soil interaction and dynamicwater adds great,so the pile-soil interaction and dynamic water is disadvantage to seismicresisting of continuous rigid-frame bridge;②High mode can not be neglected to the spectral analysis of continuous rigid-framebridge,so participation of high mode should be take into account in the design of continuousrigid-frame bridge;③expansion joint of conjunct pier may adopt the double maxmum portraitdisplacement(179mm) and temperature deform. From the seismic reponse analysis of the bridge, these obtained conclusions will give some references for practical earthquake resisting designing of continuous rigid- frame bridges.
