Steering-by-Wire System(SBW) is a new steering system which instead the mechanical transmission and conjunction with wire, the steering commands of the driver is imparted to ECU, and ECU send a command to steering execute hardware under the judgment of driver's tendency and vehicle circumstance. SBW is the newest technology of vehicle steering system. Many vehicle producing companies and designing institutes are studying this technology.On the base of researching the articles which study the SBW, shows that the SBW can enhance the vehicle working safety, manipulating stability, the system respond velocity and accuracy, lessen the driver burden, expediency the omni-deploying.This article establishes the force peculiarity model of SBW, found the imparting function and design the lead adjusting controller after the analysis of the peculiarity model; the result of adjusting controller can fix in with the purpose of device, comparing with the traditional steering system we can found that the force peculiarity model of SBW has a good celerity responding character and stability, and we found that the two systems almost have the same respond through which can prove that they have the similar respond on steering-wheel from the road, by using the simulation we also found that the SBW can achieve the situation of stability more quickly than the traditional system. This article also establishes the angle peculiarity model of SBW based on the study of the influence factors and perfect transmission proportion, design the angle peculiarity model of SBW using the Fuzzy-Logic control, the result comparing with the traditional steering system shows that it can enhance the celerity responding character and give a expression to perfect transmission proportion with the influence factors; Study the on-line front wheel control methodology using Neural Network control and system diacritical theory, design the Neural Network controller, the result get on emulation shows that the error is small and it can close with the real magnitude well which is fit for the SBW.
