Dagang Mountain Stress Inversion Studies, And Engineering Applications

The present paper gives overall generalization and conclusion to regularities of initial geostress field and measuring methods in practical engineering application. On the basis of research findings of predecessor, a new numerical simulation way of using infinite element software ABAQUS was founded .Recapitulatively, several aspects are studied as follows:1. Measuring methods and technologies of Virginal stress are systematically discussed in this paper. Present progress and status of Virginal stress measurements is also retrospected and analyzed .The main methods of measuring Virginal stress, such as hydraulic fracturing method and relief method are given explains in every particular in the second chapter.2. The infinite element software ABAQUS and ANSYS was introduced in brief and theoretically explained. The process of creating a infinite element model using ANSYS and calculating using ABAQUS is explained in particular.3. Initial geostress field is a complex system interacted by varied factors, and contains interrelating different components such as gravity and structural action, topography and geomorphologic situations, fault and crack geotectonic structures, and geo-mechanical parameters and so on. In this thesis, the initial geostress field is analyzed completely as a complex system. Among them, structural action is one of the important factors.4. Based on the statistics theories, possible factors affecting the initial geostress field are discussed. Using multiple equations and multiple regression analysis, the relationship of a group of variables including variable and dependent variable could be considered simultaneously. On the basis of a bigger pertinence coefficient, a group of reasonable parameter is the final results of this region geostress interval analysis.5.
