The study on how to use noises produced by continual underwater explosions of ammunition to counter acoustic homing torpedoes directed by sound is a new problem, both in acoustic warfare and ammunition engineering. The result will play an important role in increasing the fighting capacity of naval ships in future acoustic warfare.According to the characteristics of the noises produced by continual underwater explosions and torpedoes directed by sound, this paper discusses the principle of using the noises produced by continual underwater explosion to counter acoustic homing system of torpedoes and analyses the interference effect.According to the tactics principle of naval ship counter acoustic homing torpedo, this paper mainly discusses naval ship how to counter acoustic homing torpedo by using the noises produced by continual underwater explosions. Mathematical model based on the acoustic warfare is presented. By using the MATLAB optimization toolbox, the results that how the naval ship should escape and how to send decoys are obtained. The dynamic simulation with simulation soft is executed. The result provides a practical battle plan for the naval ship in countering torpedo by using the noises produced by continual underwater explosion, under different warning conditions.
