Ultra-high-speed Navigation In The Rear Flow Field Characteristics And Pilot Study

The High Speed Supercavitating Vehicle is a new kind of underwater weapon which is worked on the base of supercavitation. The body moving in a high speed is submerged in an artificial bubble. High speed flow jet from the High Speed Supercavitating Vehicles made important influence on appearance of cavity.In context of drag reduction and hydrodynamic layout of a high-speed submerged vehicle, series of ventilating supercavitation experiments on vehicle model have been carried out .In detail, following work has been accomplished.1. The elements that influent cavity stability was analyzed by hydrodynamics model of vehicle. The closure scheme in body was also discussed.2. The physical model and numerical method was prescribed by CFD method. And the flow of outlet was computed by numerical method.3. Series of ventilating supercavitation experiments on vehicle model has been carried out in the lab of hole of water. The supercavitating flow regimes of vehicle with tail spraying were investigated. By Making use of the measure system of the hole of water, the resistance of the model at supercavitating had been analyzed. Matlab software was used in order to analyze data.4.
